BLAZING BUCKS RAFFLE CONTEST RULES
If all 1400 tickets are not sold by 3:00 pm Sunday, September 9th 2024, then 71% of the money collected from all ticket sales will be awarded as follows: 1st prize equal to 30% of the available prize money; 2nd prize equal to 15% of the available prize money; 3rd prize equal to 10% of the available prize money; 4th Prize equal to 5% of the available prize money; 25 prizes each equal to 1.0% of the available prize money; 30 prizes each equal to 0.5% of the available prize money.
All tickets will be reentered into each drawing.
Winners need not to be present.
Must be 19 years of age to enter the grounds.
This is an ADULT EVENT - NO CHILDREN PERMITTED.
Ticket will entitle two adult admissions to the drawing to be held on Sunday, September 9th, 2024 at the rear of the Holbrook Fire Department Station #2 - 355 Patchogue-Holbrook Rd. and Greenbelt Pkwy, south of Nichols Rd. Refreshments to be served at 1pm, drawing to be held at 4:30 pm.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Eligibility:
Each entrant, by entering the Raffle, agrees to abide by all of the rules and conditions contained herein, as well as all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations, and further agrees to release the Holbrook Fire Departments (HFD) Eagle Engine Co. No. 2 and its directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability with respect to all aspects of the Raffle including, but not limited to, the selection process. The Raffle is open to any eligible person residing in a state where the Raffle is not prohibited. Entrants must be 19 years of age or older.
Tickets:
Each donation shall constitute an “entry” into the raffle drawing for all prizes and the person to whom the entry is registered shall be the “entrant.” If an entrant’s payment is dishonored by the bank for any reason, such entrant’s Certificate of entry will be declared invalid unless full and satisfactory payment is made prior to the Raffle drawing.
HFD, its members, officers, directors, agents, and representatives and their parent organizations, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, promotion and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; (ii) failed, returned, or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner; or (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties resulting from participation in this Raffle or (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of HFD.
PURCHASES OF RAFFLE TICKETS ARE NOT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS
Drawing:
Winners will be determined by random drawings of all the eligible entrants received. The drawings will be held on September 18, 2022 at 355 Patchogue-Holbrook Road, Holtsville, New York 11742.
The winners do not need to be present at the time of the drawing and will be notified by HFD within 5 business days of the drawing. It is the responsibility of the donor/entrant to provide a valid mailing address, phone number and email address for notification.
Winners:
Winners will be notified by phone, e-mail or by mail based on the information received on the Certificate. Names of winners will be available to all media and will be listed on HFD website. Winning entrants agree to allow HFD to use their names, likeness, and any statements made by them regarding the prize for advertising or publicity purposes without compensation. If the winner cannot be located by October 30, of the year of the drawing, after HFD has made reasonable attempts to do so, or if the winner is deemed to be ineligible, such winner will be deemed to have forfeited his or her prize, and another subsequent winner will be selected for such prize. The subsequent winner must claim his or her prize within fourteen (14) days after notice of the award. If the subsequent winner does not claim the prize within such fourteen (14) day period, said winner will be deemed to have forfeited his or her prize and another winner will be selected in the same manner as set forth herein until a winner is determined.
Restrictions:
All prize winners are responsible for all costs associated with delivery and other applicable fees associated with their respective prizes, as well as for all local, state and federal taxes, including, but not limited to, all luxury, special and income taxes that may be applicable. Winners will be required to provide HFD with a valid social security number and must complete all IRS and similar forms requested by HFD prior to release of their prize. Failure to do so within thirty (30) days of request shall result in an automatic forfeiture of such winner’s prize.
General Terms & Conditions:
By obtaining a Raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of HFD, which shall be final. The winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release permitting HFD to use his or her name, photograph, likeness and voice for promotional purposes in any media .
HFD is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the winner’s acceptance or use of any prize. By entering the Raffle, each participant releases HFD, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and the winner agrees to indemnify and hold HFD harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the winner’s acceptance or use of any prize.
Disclaimer of All Other Representations and Warranties:
THERE ARE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OTHER THAN AS SET FORTH IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS. HFD DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE RAFFLE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. A RAFFLE PARTICIPANT’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR HFD BREACH SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE RETURN OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR HIS OR HER RAFFLE TICKET(S). IN NO EVENT SHALL HFD BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURIES TO EARNINGS, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF HFD HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Return Policies:
From time to time, HFD – ENG2 may, in its sole discretion, accept returns of a raffle. Any return will be made in accordance with exchange policies in effect on the date of the exchange. Absolutely No Returns will be allowed / granted within 30 days of the drawing date. CUSTOMER AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THE RETURN POLICY IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF PURCHASE / SHIPMENT OF RAFFLE(S).
Exchanges:
From time to time, HFD – ENG2 may, in its sole discretion, exchange products or portions of a product. Any exchanges will be made in accordance with exchange policies in effect on the date of the exchange.
Use Restrictions
The copyright in all material provided on this Site is held by Holbrook Fire Departments Eagle Enigne Co. No. 2 (HFD – ENG2) or by the original creator of the material.
